Research, Advocacy, and Policy Influence
- Facilitated communities in development of six (6) Disaster Risk Reduction Plans prepared and handed over to the county government for integration into the County Integrated Development Plan under the
- In collaboration with KEFRI, GIZ and CARITAS, took lead in a socio-economic household baseline survey in Seven (7) selected sites with technical officers from the County Government in Turkana West and Loima
- Facilitated research on the illegal slaughter and smuggling of donkeys within Turkana Count and the cross-border regions of Karamoja under the Brooke EA funded project.
- Lobbied for inclusion of animal welfare in the Turkana Livestock Policy under the Brooke EA funded donkey welfare and resilience project.
