Key Achievements:
Supported the beneficiary communities develop action plans to address disaster risk
Reduced walking distances and increased access to safe water by the community of Kaikapel in Loima
Supported the formation and capacity building of VSLA groups for Kaikapel and Kaloboi communities
Rehabilitated water Kaikapel water storage facility and constructed community collection pints and water troughs.
Supported the formation and capacity building of Kaikapel and Kaloboi LMA and linked them to the umbrella (County Livestock Marketing Organization/Council) and other opportunities at the county.
Piloted the concept of livestock insurance with Takaful through Kaikapel and Kaloboi LMAs-140 pastoralists benefited from the pilot
