Project Goal and Objective
Enhancing Peaceful coexistence, cooperation and collaboration among communities through strengthening of local capacities for peace along the borderlands of Loima-Moroto corridor by January,2025
Expected Outcomes
Target Audience:
The action will target Loima Sub- County and Moroto District and its environs within the corridor. Proposed locations that may be targeted by the action include: Lorengkippi/Loya,Lokiriama and Urum(Loima) and Kobebe,,Tapac,and Naput/Nakiloro ( Moroto) . Coupled with inter-community conflict with neighbouring North Pokot Pokot, the action will also target Naoyapong bordering Loya Sub-Location in Loima Sub county.The action will target Elders,youth and women,Religious and community leaders, PWDS, Natural Resource Management committees, Peace committees, Security personnel’s, local, County and National Governments, Line ministries and Private Sector.
APaD is implementing this project with the financial support of DANIDA SPA and DANISH REFUGEE COUNCIL as its Implementing Partner.
